Today is one of those days that throws you for a loop. You know, the kind of day that gives you pause and makes you realize what's really important and you hope you'll be stronger for it in the end. This picture is the view from my Hubby's unexpected new home for at least the next 5 days.
For those just joining our little community and wondering what you've stumbled on, this little community blog is a family project designed to help others save a few bucks. A place we share deals we think you might enjoy and use to enrich you and your families lives.
Every part of the website is run by family. My daughter runs the Facebook giveaways, my daughter in-law keeps up the data entry, my son keeps the whole site running and fixes all my goofy mistakes and in the end I set you up with what I think are some sweet deals without the clutter. The man that holds us all together, well that would Hubby.
I'll post when I can. There are some scheduled posts you won't want to miss. Contests will run as normal on our Facebook page. Smith's deals will post as usual. But, for the most part we will just be chilling as a family.
Seize the moment. Hug your family. It's FREE.

There is a Buddhist saying, “If you light a lamp for somebody, it will also brighten your path.” I know your family has lit many lamps for others.

August 9, 2011 at 7:24 amI am so sorry for your current circumstances. I hope and pray for a short and speedy stay there. I just stumbled across your site a few weeks ago and it immediately went on my favorites bar! At a time in my life where things were looking in the slump for my couponing your site has made me eager and excited. I am happy for that. HUGS and prayers to you and your family.

August 8, 2011 at 10:16 pmHi Joani,
I am sorry to see that as your view. It was my dad’s view not long ago as well. I will keep your husband in my prayers too. That place will take excellent care of him. And it is probably the best place for him to be for the time being. I will pray for him and for your family as well.
And may this only be the view for a short while.
I wish there was more I could offer.

August 8, 2011 at 9:53 pmWell I am so sorry you are there. I know that view. I am on dialysis and have seen that picture alot. I am glad that you are there if you need to be. Best wishes to your husband and you. Thanks for all you do for us. I don’t have a day that I don’t refer someone to your site. It is so easy to read and follow. Thanks for all your time and effort. I pay it forward with all the deals you help me with. All the patients on dialysis are on limited income’s because it is so hard to work with our treatments. So I give my extra’s to my social worker and she passes them on. I have all the tech’s and nurses doing coupons and now they are helping too! So as you sit up there, I hope you and your family can know how you have changed alot of lives for the better. So I will go pray for your family right now. Thanks again!!!!!!Sure love ya. Heidi Naylor P.S. I hope the next time I see that view is when I get my kidney transplant.
