Are you looking for a good printer? One of our readers found one he really likes!
I recently blew a fuse at my house on Thanksgiving and it left me without my printer (no signs of life whatsoever), which was okay because it was GUZZLING ink. I wanted to get a good printer that had a high user rating and was also good on ink.
I found a website that offered user ratings, technical ratings, and a cost per printed page rating. The HP Offijet Pro 8000 was one of the highest rated in all categories. It was the very first one listed, actually… I looked around for prices on the 10 highest rated printers on that list and it seemed like the lowest price was around $100, and that specific printer was around $180…
…I got the printer today and all I can say is WOW. It's better than the printers where I work! It's heavy duty, comes with high quality paper and ink (color ink is 3 different cartridges, so you can replace just one color at a time if you need to), and it prints INCREDIBLY. I'm not one who typically talks about the deals I get, but after seeing the HP Inkjet 8000 print a page, I wanted to tell someone. Who better than you, right??
Time will tell how it holds up in the long run, but if you know someone who needs a printer and wants the best quality and value per printed page, I HIGHLY recommend this printer!!! Scott D
Amazon has the HP Officejet Pro 8000 on special right now. When I added it to my cart it came out to be 89.99 + FREE Super Saver Shipping. The next best price I could find is at Target.com it's on price cut for $99.99 + $23.00 shipping. Walmart.com a whopping $149.84 (free site to store shipping)
Does anyone else have a printer they love? I'd like to start a list of good ones that you recommend. So, I can start watching for deals. Maybe even a printer giveaway! Leave a comment. Thanks!
Thanks so much Scott!
**A side note, I don't own this printer. But, I do have an HP that takes this same cartridge. If you fill your own cartridges, I can say that these are the easiest cartridges to refill I've ever owned. Remember too that Amazon's prices change without notice.
