We have received quite a few emails asking for an update on our quest for better health. It has been harder to write these posts than I thought it would be. Personal posts aren't usually something we indulge ourselves in, this is, after all, a Utah deal blog. But, we created the site to be helpful so, we opted to share this experience, in hopes that it would help inspire you or someone you know. Over the weeks of personal training, we both have gotten much stronger. Working out has become such a needed routine and I love the sessions with our trainer at Fitness Together. The accountability and one on one sessions make it so easy to keep motivated.

The hard part for us has been eating. The biggest problem, two picky eaters that don't like the same foods, AT ALL! My food choices are primarily seafood and veggie driven, the hubs, is a huge meat and potato man. After the kids flew the coop, I basically said, “That's it! I'm done cooking food I don't like”. Yikes! Poor hubs, his wife, just went on strike…. So, as empty nesters, we did, what I think many do, and indulged ourselves at our local eateries.
We know, we will not be successful if we don't get a grip on this. Problem recognized, next up, our solution.
