Papa Murphy's has a new gluten-free pizza available in it's Utah locations. The Gluten-Free crust is only available for medium pizzas, and is provided and prepared in the certified Gluten Free Udi's brand kitchens.
I was recently invited to join some blogger friends at one of Papa Murphy's kitchens, where we got to give it a taste test. I'm not an expert on gluten free eating, but the pizza was very good and you really couldn't tell much difference. The whole family would enjoy this pizza crust whether you are gluten free or not. The new crust can be substituted for any of their other medium crusts made to order pizza's for no additional charge. (Offer does not apply to their $5 pizza)
While there, I also got to create a regular (non-Gluten Free) pizza of my own. I learned some fun facts about Papa Murphy's and the way they make pizzas. Did you know that they use only whole milk cheese and grate it themselves daily? Or, that their veggies are hand cut fresh daily and purchased from local growers when possible? Even the pepperoni is refrigerator fresh (not the packaged kind you see on the shelves). And, they never freeze anything.
Want a coupon so you can try it for yourself? Text the word “GF” to 90421 (you'll be asked to reply with your zip code) after replying, Papa Murphy's will send you a coupon valid for $2 off any Gluten Free Pizza (limit 3). Important note: The coupon expires 2 days after you text, so plan accordingly.
Also, keep in mind, while the crust is certified gluten free, for those super sensitive to Gluten, it is handled in Papa Murphy's regular kitchen that is considered“Gluten Friendly” where they do handle products containing gluten so, for those with major health issues with Gluten, please call ahead so they can answer any concerns. October 23, 2014 at 11:29 amGluten free is nice. How about coming up with a dairy free pizza so those with dairy allergies can enjoy pizza too.

October 23, 2014 at 3:35 pmVery yummy. You really couldn’t tell any difference, the toppings are so fresh and with the sauce, it was pretty similar to me. I don’t think kids would ever know and most adults probably couldn’t tell either.
