January 22, 2012 at 7:43 pmThe “MaxPerks” program at OfficeMax is TOTALLY misleading. You are not getting anything for a penny. The MaxPerks money is adding to your account balance which has to be a MINIMUM of $500 spent on qualified purchases to get a $25 credit that you can use at OfficeMax. This amounts to a 5% savings–NOT the fabulous penny deals that they advertise. If you want real savings, purchase the items at Staples when they advertise their rebates.

January 23, 2012 at 8:17 amHi Sandy, These particular items are items that you get store credit for. They don’t go towards the $500 that you are referring too. Your credit on these items is ready to use at the end of the promotion and is for FULL store credit. Hope it helps.
