This is interesting. Amazon has created a new product called the Amazon Dash Button. It's a brand specific button that you place next to products you order regularly, like Toilet Paper, Laundry Detergent, Coffee etc.
Basically, Prime members can set up the button with the product they need to replace often, then when you are getting close to running out of that item, you simply push the button to order. A receipt is then delivered to your phone where you can cancel within a certain time frame if you change your mind.
In one of the news threads I was reading, a person commented that this is a perfect solution for empty nesters that are at, or nearing retirement, because, they have more money and don't like shopping? As person, considered to be in that age group, I found that an interesting perception. Does that mean my generation is lazy and rich? Dang, I guess missed that boat.
Anyway, the buttons are free, but you need to request an invite. What do you think? Hit or miss?
