With all the shopping we've been doing at Smith's lately I wanted to make sure everyone remembers to check your Fuel Saver points.
The Smith's Fuel Saver Rewards can save you on gas each month. Spend at least $30 on groceries, you'll earn a 5ยข off per gallon fuel reward at Smith's fuel centers. Spend at least $60 on groceries, you'll get a 10 cent reward; if your grocery bill reaches $90, you'll get a 15 cent per gallon fuel reward.
The points are based on your grocery total before coupons! So, if your pre-total was $60.00, but you whittled that down to say $35.00, you will still get the $.10 reward.ย ย My experience has been that the prices at these pumps is priced competitively with the gas stations in the surrounding area. And, you can use those points at all Kroger Fuel centers around the country. We recently used ours at King Soopers while traveling in Denver. Using them is easy, you simply scan your fresh values card at the participating Kroger gas station, before you purchase. No receipts to hang on to, the points are loaded right on your card.
Another thing to remember are the coupons that Smith's sends in the mail. Don't through them away. This month mine had a double point coupon in when I spend at least $60.00. $60.00 is a lot for me at one shopping trip. But, that also is before coupons. Just hand that coupon over to your cashier, before giving her/him the others. Your points can really add up fast and don't we just love those quarterly bonus dollars they send out. You can check your point balance by logging on to your Smith's account, then clicking on the “My Smith's” tab.
Remember you also getย added points to your card when you bring in your reusable sacks. You get 5 bonus points for every one you use. (Up to 50 points per trip) Since you get $5.00 for every 500 points you earn, it would be easy to get an extra $5.00 in Smith's rewards just for bringing you own reusable sacks.ย For more tips on shopping at Smith's you can link here.
