We have a new money saving app to share with you. It's called LowestMed and it was developed right here in Utah. The app gives the user the ability to view and compare drug prices with various grocery stores and pharmacies in the area you live in. It's completely free and anonymous. LowestMed does not track or even ask for any personally identifiable information. No sign-up is required and the only thing you need to provide is your location for comparison.
After downloading the app, enable your GPS or provide your zip code then search for the drug you need to have filled. Enter the quantity of tablets needed and select the prescription strength and a list of pharmacies and costs will be displayed. You can also use the LowestMed search online at LowesMed.com.
Lowest Med Saved Me $35.00 a Month
This app is great for people with and without insurance. A quick search of a medications being used by our family members found one that is considerably cheaper than the mail order insurance was providing. Plus LowestMed has discounts for some over-the-counter medications too.
With the rising cost of medications, it certainly can't hurt to check to see that you are getting the best prices on the medications you or a family member takes regularly.
Visit LowestMed.com for more information and links to the app.
