If you have been with me for a while now you know I was a big fan of the Gold'n Plump coupon that had such a long run on coupons.com here, here and here. Fortunately they had long expiration dates! My oldest one is about to expire on 5/7. ( If you are the gambling sort you could hang on to the other 2 sets mine expire 5/23 and 6/10)
Guess what it is finally time to spend them. I just got back from Fresh Market and while I have to say I was a bit disappointed with the Grand Reopening sale as a whole there are enough items on sale to make it worth the journey.
First off the Gold'n Plump legs and thigh packages are on sale for $1.99 – If you printed 2 coupons each of the 3 times you'll be able to pick up 6 packages for just $1.24 ea. It's not the $.25 price we got last time, but still a great buy.
Other items worth the trip:
Maybe some Chicken Enchilada's?

- Hormel chili 15 oz. on sale $1.25
- Use the $1.50/3 form the 3/7 SS (EXPIRES 4-30-10)
- Pay $.75 ea. wyb 3
Other Items that caught my eye:
- Whole Fryer Chickens $.68 ea.!
- Bananas $.38 lb
- Charmin Basic 12 rolls $3.98
- Grandma Sycaore's Bread $1.28
- Tomatoes on the vine $.98 lb. (my favorite)
- Colgate Toothpaste and Brushes $.87
- Oreo Cookies $1.98 (Keep you finger crossed that we will get another bogo coupon on Monday 5/3)
- Farmland Sausage on sale for $1.98 (If you have received your coupons from Farmland you might want to pick up a package)
- Fuze Drinks are $.50 ea. wyb 10 with the in ad coupon
- And, Grocery Smarts reports that Huggies are $6.49 with combination in ad coupon and the $1.50/1 from the 4/18 SS. But, I didn't see the in ad coupon.
If you like Western Family products you will find some good values. But, I was a bit disappointed that there weren't better coupon match-ups. Keep in mind you will get a $5.00 catalina with a $50.00 purchase. Make sure you get entered in the drawing for the Ford Focus, somebody has to win.
Is this my Cents-able Saturday list? Nope. I just like cheap chicken.
Happy Shopping
