Downtown Salt Lake: The 9th annual Chalk Art Festival is this weekend at The Gateway shopping center in downtown Salt Lake City. This is one of my favorites! Kaysville: Kaysville's first annual Art & Music Festival: Come enjoy this beautiful new park in city center. The day will begin with Sunrise Zumba and end with a movie in the park. Prepare to be entertained by local musicians throughout the day. Surrounding the entertainment will be quilt displays, art displays, kid's corner, artists in action and artisan & food vendors. Downtown Salt Lake: On Saturday 6/18. The Family Art Saturday invites children aged 5-12 and their adult companions to explore Art Center exhibitions and participate together in collaborative hands-on art making activities. Logan: The 28th Annual Summerfest Arts Fair is happening in Logan. You'll enjoy live music, good food and more than a hundred artists. Festivities include a children's art yard where youngsters can create a variety of arts projects themselves. LINK HERE for details.
Downtown Salt Lake: The Gallivan Center will be hosting the second ever Salt Lake City Freedom Fest. This festival celebrates local art, and expression through mediums of speech, writing, music, performance, and visual arts. Admission is FREE. LINK HERE for details.
Downtown Salt Lake: The Utah Museum of Fine Arts in Salt Lake City is offering free admission on Saturday, 6/18 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Kids can make their own jigsaw puzzles.LINK HERE for details.

Heber: The Heber Pow-Wow and Mountainman Rendezvous starts June 17th. Come celebrate authentic Native American dancing and see the beautiful hand-crafted items from our Native American vendors. Also traditional Native foods from Frybread to Indian Tacos will be sold. I've been to this event once years ago and it is very fun and informative. If you want discount tickets order them today. They are 50% off. You'll need to choose pick-up and pick-them up at City Deals in West Jordan to get them in time for the event. Pay $10 for a family five pass from City Deals, or $20 at the event.Â

South Jordan: The South Jordan 2011 Country Fest, From Wagon Wheels to Ferris Wheels will be held Thursday and Friday evenings and all day Saturday. New this year are scheduled programs throughout the festival for kids to participate in FREE. If you like Carnival rides you will want to get your ride tickets in advance. Millcreek: The 6th Annual Venture Outdoors Festival held on Saturday, June 18th. This unique festival, is held at Canyon Rim Park on 3100 South and 2900 E. This FREE, family-friendly event features live music, recreation clinics, guest speakers, giveaways, creative children's activities, and great food all day long. Bountiful: The Bountiful Rotary Club will host the 13th annual “Coats for Kids” car show on June 17-18. Get ready for one of the biggest car shows in the state. Activities include a parade on Main Street including a climbing wall, Marie Calendar pie eating contest, face painting, George Miller's 50's & 60's music live entertainment Dress in 50's & 60's fashion to be eligible for a door prize. Kids Bowl Free program. This program is designed by bowling centers to give back to the community and provide a safe, secure, and fun way for kids to spend time this summer. Utah now has 7 participating center.
