VegFest (Salt Lake) – Sep 11 from 12 pm – 8 pm at Library Square. This free festival includes live music, cooking demos, kids zone, 100% vegan food and more.
Utah Healing Field (Sandy) – Sep 8-11 at Sandy City Hall; To commemorate this special anniversary, the Utah Symphony will perform a patriotic set overlooking the United States flags. They will be performing in conjunction with our annual “Honoring the Fallen,” Military ceremony that honors every branch in the Military, all the fallen Utah soldiers, first responders; including K9’s. This event is free to the public on 9/11 at 7 pm.
9/11 Remembrance Display (Riverton) – Sep 2-13 at Riverton Park; Educational displays will be presented around the park with sobering facts about that tragic day 20 years ago.
Scarecrow Walk (Kaysville) – Sep 9-18 at USU Botanical Center; free, family-friendly event displaying scarecrows.
Utah State Fair (Salt Lake) – Sep 9-19 at Utah State Fair Park; Rodeo, demolition derby, carnival and more.
Brigham City Peach Days – Sep 10-11; 2 parades, carnival, entertainment, car show, and more.
Ivins Heritage Days – Sep 10-11; parade, vendors, food, games, entertainment and more.
Greek Festival (Salt Lake) – Sep 10-12 at 279 S 300 W; admission is $3 and children 5 and under are free. Free with current student ID.
Avenues Street Fair (Salt Lake) – Sep 11 from 9 am – 6 pm at East First Avenue and P Street. Includes local talent, food vendors and more.
Utah Brazilian Festival (Orem) – Sep 11 from 12-7 pm at University Place. Includes music, dance, food, costumes, and more.
Heritage Festival (Sandy) – Sep 11 from 11 am – 2 pm at Historic Main Street Park. Live music, car show, catered lunch, inflatable rides for kids and more.
Chalk Our Walk (Holladay) – Sep 11 from 9 am – 1 pm at Holladay City Hall. Artists of all ages and abilities.
Get to the River Chalk Art (Murray) – Sep 11 from 8:30-11:30 m at Germania Park
Snowbird Octoberfest – a family-friendly affair with activities, food, and, of course, brews for days — weeks actually. The highly-anticipated festival begins late-August and lasts through mid-October, taking place every Saturday and Sunday, along with Labor Day.
MOA Family Workshops (Provo) – On any one Saturday of their choice families can take a guided tour of a current exhibition and create a fun, hands-on art project, free of charge
