Great Salt Lake Bird Festival (Farmington) – May 12-15 at Eccles Wildlife Center. Features 40 field trips throughout the Wasatch Front that provide attendees with exclusive experiences. 15 workshops featuring Hawkwatch International, keynote speaker Markus Mika, and more. Attend these workshops to learn from birding experts and to get an up-close look at some of your favorite species. There will also be vendor and information booths, as well as the continuation of free Family Day activities.

Draper Jam (Draper) – May 13 at 6:30 pm at Draper Amphitheater. See some awesome live talent, admission is free.
Spring Showcase (West Jordan) – May 13 at 7 pm at Viridian Event Center. Free concert.
Monster Truck Insanity Tour (Tremonton) – May 13-14 at Box Elder County Fairgrounds. Prices $12-$18.
Living Heritage Festival (Ogden) – May 13-14 at Union Station. Presentations of dance, music, craft, culinary arts and history. Admission is free.
Farm Fest (Murray) – May 14 from 9 am – 2 pm at Wheeler Historic Farm. Preview their Farmer's Market, sheep shearing, farming hands on activities, and wagon rides for $3/person. Free event.
Pedal Palooza (Herriman) – May 14 from 9 – 10:30 am at J. Lynn Crane Park. Bike helmet giveaway for 200 kids, bike safety course, bike give away, and food trucks.
Multiethnic Performing Arts Festival (Salt Lake) – May 14 at The Gateway Mall Legacy Plaza. Free family oriented festival with music and dance performances.
Holi Festival of Colors (Ogden) – May 14 from 11am -4pm at West Stadium Park. Includes yoga, dance party, cruelty free cuisine, colors and more. Cost is $7 online and kids 12 and under are free.
Mural Fest Artist Meet and Greet (South Salt Lake) – May 14 from 5-8 pm at Downtown South Salt Lake. See 10 new murals, meet the artists, food trucks and entertainment along the way. Put on your walking shoes or bring your bike.
Kite Festival (North Salt Lake) – May 14 from 9-11 am at Tunnel Springs Park. Free kites for kids while supplies last, live music, food trucks, kids parade, and cake walk.
Tooele Downtown Fest & Car Show – May 14 from 10 am – 2 pm at Mainstreet & Vine. Includes car show, chalk art, entertainment, food and more.
Urban Bird Festival (Salt Lake) – May 14-15 from 10 am -3 pm at Tracy Aviary. Activities with community partners, keeper talks, and learning while exploring the birds and surrounding nature. Included with admission.
MOA Family Workshops (Provo) – On any one Saturday of their choice families can take a guided tour of a current exhibition and create a fun, hands-on art project, free of charge
