Summer Outdoor Concerts Series in Utah are a lot of fun. You can pack up a blanket and snacks and get outside to enjoy some of our local talent. Many parks, resorts and event centers host these free or for a discounted price. We've updated our annual list of Summer Concert Series in Salt Lake City and other cities.

Free Concerts in Salt Lake City
Gallivan Center Lunch Bunch Concerts: These lunch time concerts feature some of Salt Lake's best local musical talent. They are every weekday from noon to 1 p.m. at the Salt Lake Gallivan Center from noon to 1 pm.
Concerts in the Park at Brigham Young Historic Park: Tuesday and Friday evenings throughout June, July, and August.
Murray City Arts in the Park: Free lunch concerts are held every Tuesday at noon in Murray Park Pavilion #5 beginning in June and ending in August. Bring your sack lunch and enjoy an hour of entertainment. Murray Park also hosts a free children matinees every Thursday at 2:00 p.m. in Murray Park Pavilion #5. Also, free Family Night concerts are held on the 2nd Mondays in June-September at the Heritage Center Outdoor Plaza.
Utah Cultural Celebration Center in West Valley: The World Stage Concert Series begins on July 18, 2016 at 7:00 pm and runs through August on Monday nights.
Draper Amphitheater: Draper Utah. The Amphitheater has various concerts for a small fee.
West Jordan: West Jordan Band Concert, 7 p.m. Viridian Event Center, 8030 S. 1825 West. To honor our veterans.
Sandy Amphitheater: On June 29, watch American West Symphony and Chorus pops concert free of charge. July 6 there is a free Jason Lyle Black “The Backwards Piano Man” concert. The International Folk Festival will be presented, free of charge on August 17. On September 2, Michael Jackson –This is It concert/documentary will be free of charge. There are also various concerts through out the summer for a fee.
Snowbird Cool Air Concerts: Offers Free outdoor concerts featuring top bands from around the nation each Saturday from June 20-August 8 at 6-9 pm.
Excellence in the Community: Free cultural events at the Gallivan Center on Saturdays and Thursdays.
Midvale Arts Council: Free concerts in the park most Friday nights at 7:30 at 400 W 7500 S from June 3 – August 6, 2016.
Leann Rimes at SoJo Country Fest: June 4 at 8:30pm at North City Park (2200 W 10830 S). This free concert kicks off Country Fest.
FREE Outdoor Concerts in Utah
Park City: Newark Amphitheater. These community concerts take place Thursday evenings, June 21 – August 30th, and feature national, regional and local touring acts in a beautiful forum environment. Bring a blanket, picnic, spirits to imbibe and get your groove on with friends and neighbors.
Orem: Scera Shell Outdoor Theatre: Sunday, July 3, there will be a free Heritage Fireside featuring “candy bomber” Gail Halvorsen. Sunday, September 4, there will be a free Fireside with Dallyn Vail Bayles. See website for times.
Orem: Scera Shell Outdoor Theatre also has various concerts that include the David Archuleta, Craig Morgan, and Boyz II Men for a fee.
American Fork: Free Concerts at the American Fork Amphitheater on various Monday's. Joshua Creek will be on Monday July 20.
Provo Rooftop Concerts: Free concerts presented the first Friday of every month, May – September.
Ogden Amphitheater: Free Summer Concerts in the Park is every Wednesday evening at 6pm from June 6 – Aug 25.
Canyons Resort Concerts: Free Saturday Summer Concerts beginning in July. Visit their website for more details.
Deer Valley Summer Concerts: Free Concerts on Wednesday evenings from 6 to 8 pm.
Logan Tabernacle Summer Concerts: May 30-August 11, 2016 concerts are held Monday through Friday at 12:00 Noon.
Bountiful Concerts in the Park: Most Friday nights starting June 24 through August 26 at Bountiful City Park.
Central Utah Gardens Summer Concerts: Enjoy a free concert at 7 pm on select Friday nights (355 W Universtity Pkwy, Orem).
Soda Row Daybreak Summer Concerts: Enjoy live music every Friday and Saturday night from 8-10pm. Concert series runs May -September.
List of Amphitheaters in Utah
Aside from those mentioned above, here's a list of other Utah Amphitheaters you can enjoy. These require tickets. You can purchase your tickets online at the theaters website.
Twilight Concert Series: The Salt Lake City Twilight Concert Series is held at Pioneer Park. Admission is only $5.00.
Red Butte Gardens: Downtown Salt Lake City. Red Butte cautions to be aware that other websites and companies use the words ‘Red Butte' in some way to sell tickets. Be sure to purchase your tickets only through redbuttegarden.org (via Ticketfly), at our Visitor Center or by calling the Garden or Ticketfly.
USANA Amphitheater: West Valley City. This year's line-up includes The Piano Guys, Pitbull and Keith Urban.
Sandy Amphitheater: Sandy Utah. See America on the 44th year tour. See Chicago, Toto, Matt Nathanson and Phillip Phillips and many more.
Thanksgiving Point: Attend an evening with The Utah Symphony at Thanksgiving Point Gardens Waterfall Amphitheatre on June 30, 2016 from 6:30-10:00 pm.
Tuacahn Amphitheatre: St. George Utah. 2016 concerts include David Archuleta and Thriller.
