Jeffrey Lee Blake, the creative director and contributing writer for Studio C, has created “Accident, West Virginia”. This dinner theater is scheduled for June 8 – June 24 at Mercury Theater and Event Center in Provo. Choose from the following options:
- $7 for one ticket, valid for the show only (up to $12 value)
- $15 for one ticket, valid for dinner and the show (up to $22 value)
The shows take place Monday and Thursday–Saturday between June 8 and June 24. The show-only ticket includes dessert at intermission. The theater begins serving the four-course meal—catered by Broke Eatery—an hour before the show.
The dinner begins at 6 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m. On Saturdays, the meal is served at 1 p.m. and the show is at 2 p.m.
Accident, West Virginia is a farce featuring a cast of eccentric characters. They’ve all ended up at the Happy Accident Inn—“a place where comfortable country living ain’t no accident”—in Accident, West Virginia, through a madcap series of events. But has something significant actually drawn a pair of police officers, a film crew, a psychologist, a recovering hippie, her put-upon husband, and an escaped mental patient to this little town?
