Is Rite Aid getting too complicated?
Today's Rite Aid coupon match-up was enough to make me want run the other direction while pulling my hair from my head in a mad frenzy yelling “it's only a dollar, it's only an dollar!” Okay.. a little extreme, but it seems that they are getting more and more difficult as time progresses. I was browsing their “new and improved” Video Values page and were I new to the coupon world, I would give up before getting started. Hopefully this post will help you out.

I'm going to make a few step by step posts for Rite Aid over the next couple of weeks with different deals that you can do cheaply and in the end you will have experienced each of their programs.
First off to familiarize yourself with their programs, and there are a few, visit the ” Rite Aid Tips & Tricks” page of my site.
Now, lets do a Video Values deal. Even if you're not going to go into the store and purchase this product, follow along and do the steps (you don't have to waste the ink printing if you don't want to).
Today were going to set you up to buy 2 Finish Quantimatic Dishwashing dispenser systems for a total out of pocket expense of $2.99. These retail at most stores from $9.99 to $11.99. I choose this item because first, I don't think they will run out (no guarantee). And second, it only involves printable coupons. No coupon circulars, +UP Rewards or Single Check Rebates will be used in this deal.
Let's get started:
Sign-Up HERE (if you haven't yet) for a Rite Aid Wellness Rewards card. It is a requirement for Rite Aid shopping if you're going to save money there, with or without coupons. They'll email you $50.00 worth of coupons right away!
Now for the coupons:
This week Finish products are on sale at Rite Aid for Buy 1, Get 1 FREE. The Finish Quantimatic dispenser system is $11.99. With the buy 1, Get 1 FREE sale you'll pay $11.99 for 2 of them. **You need the Wellness card to get that sale price.
First lets grab the manufacturers coupons. LINK here to Finish website, scroll down to the coupons and offers and print 2 of the $3.00 off 1 Finish Quantimatic manufacturers coupons.
Rite Aid's coupon policy allows the use of both coupons, even though one of the items is FREE. So, you're going to save $6.00 right away, bringing the cost down to $5.99. So far so good?
Petty Good – But, we can do better!
Now for Rite Aid Video Values coupons. LINK HERE and lets navigate the site a little. You'll see all the various categories. The way these coupons work is that you have to watch a short video commercial. The reward for your time is a coupon for that product.
There are coupons in each of the categories. You can access a list of all the coupons by clicking on the “All Offers” tab at the top of the page. I like that because you can see what's available without having to search each individual category.
We're going to start by grabbing a $1.00 off Finish coupon. Click on the “Watch Now” in the Winter Rewards category.
Go a ahead and scroll through and find the Finish coupon, click on it and watch the short video. Congratulations, you just earned a $1.00 off coupon for Finish.
To view and print your coupon just click on “All Rewards” at the top of the page and you'll see your coupon is saved for you until you're ready to print. When you're ready to use it just check the box and print.
You can save these coupons and use them the next month too. So, lets say you don't use this Finish coupon this month (February) But, in March Finish goes on sale again you'll have it in your account ready to use.
Now let's take it one step further. Did you see the “Winter Rewards” coupon while you were scrolling through? Watch 10 of the videos in the Winter Rewards category and you'll score a $2.00 coupon good for ANY Non-prescription item in the Store.
Yup…take that coupon into Rite Aid and grab a couple of Reeses Peanut Butter Cups or whatever else you find that costs $2.00 for FREE if you want. So, lets go ahead and watch that video and 8 others to get the coupon. They are very short. It took me less that 15 minutes to watch all the videos in the category. The Starburst one is quite entertaining.
Now you're ready to go to the store. Here's what the deal looks like when I post it on the site:
Finish Quantumatic Starter Kit Buy 1, Get 1 FREE $11.99 (online price)
Use (2) $3.00/1 Finish Quatimatic coupon LINK Plus..
Use the $1.00/1 Finish Product Rite Aid Video Values coupon (watch the Finish Video in the Winters Reward Section) Plus..
Use the $2.00/1 Rite Aid Video Values Coupon LINK (watch 10 videos in the Winters Reward Section)
Pay $2.99 for both ($1.49 each or .12¢ per load)
Stick with it! And, it will become routine to pick up FREE & Cheap stuff at Rite Aid. Next week we'll tackle + UP Rewards.
**On a side note. I got a couple of these a while back on a similar offer. They work great! My only complaint is the amount of space it takes in the dishwasher.
