Have you heard us mentioning ALL YOU magazine? Perhaps you've seen some of the coupons featured in the coupon match-ups.
ALL YOU magazine is a Walmart publication. It's full of fun ideas for the home, including craft, decorating and cooking ideas. However, it's most popular feature…is it's coupons! It's loaded with them! Usually more than $80.00 worth. Click here to view the coupons that were in the last 2 issues. Walmart is the only place you can buy ALL YOU, I think it's around $2.50 per issue.
I got my renewal notice in the mail the other day and I thought I would share with you how I get my ALL YOU magazine at the lowest possible price. This is a long post but stick with me, you'll be glad you did!
First off let me tell you that Amazon does have one of the better published prices. $14.95 for a Full Year. That's the best they have ever offered! Click here to check it out.
But..That's not what I do. I like to use either ShopAtHome or Ebates. This time I'm using ShopAtHome. But, I'm going to show you how either one will work well. Which route you choose will depend on the offer you like best and how close you are to earning a rebate check from them. If you'd like more information about Ebates or ShopAtHome check out our “Tips & Tricks” section. Now lets get started.
- ShopAtHome start here.
- Log in or sign up for your FREE account (no credit card is required at this point)
- Enter “Magazine.com” in the search box. You'll see you're going qualify for a whopping 30% cash back on your purchase!
- Click on the Magazine.com link you'll get redirected – then just search for ALL YOU magazine. It's priced for $19.97 per year. Go ahead and place your order as normal (That's going to make it $13.98 for the year after the ShopAtHome rebate)
- Ebates start here
- Choose either your FREE $10.00 gift card option or $5.00 bonus cash back. (Note: the $10.00 gift card option only appears the first time you click. So, if you don't see it clear out your cookies and start again)
- Then sign up for your FREE account (no credit card is required at this point)
- Enter “Magazine.com” in the search box. You'll see you're going to qualify for 21% cash back on your purchase. Not as high, but if you haven't gotten in on the $10.00 Home Depot gift card or the $5.00 cash back bonus it's a better deal.
- Click on the Magazine.com link you'll get redirected – then just search for ALL YOU magazine. (Your price after the 21% rebate and new customer $5.00 cash back bonus will be $10.78 for the year!)
I'm using ShopAtHome for the larger cash back bonus. Since, I'm not a new shopper to either place that works out best for me. Plus, I'm ordering my first of what will probably be (3) Utah Happenings books. So, I'll qualify for $16.49 cash back on this one order!
However, if you've never used Ebates before or if you've recently signed up to get the $10.00 Home Depot Gift card, you may want to go that route instead! It's a better deal for new shoppers!
Now the secret you need to know!
Amazon.com and Magazine.com both have automatic renewal. So, when your 1 or 2 years are up, guess what pops up on your credit card? Yup, an unexpected charge for the full year subscription price. I hate it when that happens!! So, here's what you need to do, wait until your first issue arrives. That will be your cue…
- Visit Your Account and select the “Manage your magazine subscriptions” link in the Orders section.
- Locate the magazine in your list of current and past magazine orders.
- Select the “Sign up for auto-renewal” or “Do not renew” option depending on the action you wish to take.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your change.
For Magazine.com: Just call their customer care center 800-624-2946 to cancel the automatic renewal.
Once, you've done this you'll get a billing statement in the mail instead of the auto renew. Then you know it's time to hit Ebates or ShopAtHome again.

September 6, 2010 at 7:11 pmWait until your first issue comes. Then go in and manage your renewal. I posted a little more detailed list. You don’t want to cancel the subscription. Just change the auto- renewal option.

September 6, 2010 at 5:56 pmThanks for letting us know about the automatic renewal thing for amazon. Just checking for sure though, if I click “cancel subscrition” it won’t stop them from coming now?
