October 7, 2010 at 7:15 amI was at the St. George Smith’s last night and was told they will not honor coupons that make items free. So you cannot use the $5 off 5 kraft coupon on 5 cream cheese. I went round and round with this gal and was told that at 8pm there was not a “true” manager at the store but another cashier acting as manager on duty. She also said store policy was to not accept coupons that make items free. I think that’s totally wrong as Smith’s gets reimbursed the face value of the coupon. AND, I had a cart full of stuff that did cost me over $80. I’m going back this morning to try and sort it out….
