Have your heard of Upromise? I've been playing around with this program for a few of months now and it's pretty cool! Upromise works just like all other coupon and discount companies in that they find offers from companies that want business by offering special deals to the public.
The difference is instead of giving a cash back reward, they give the money back to you in form of a savings account that can be used to pay college expenses or you can just request a check for yourself. If you have little kids or even grand kids this is a great way to save some money for them with very little effort and NO OUT OF POCKET EXPENSE!
And, the cool thing is they have coupons that load right to your Smith's shoppers card. These are coupons I never keep track of so, it makes for nice little surprise. Each month I just load the coupons that are things I would normally buy and forget about it.
They also have a dining, gasoline and travel programs. With those you simply register the credit or debit card you usually pay with and when you go to a participating restaurant or buy gas with that card…poof, money in your Upromise account. An example, Dinner at Madelines, will get your 2% of the bill put right into your savings account and if your have a newspaper coupon or Entertainment book coupon for the restaurant your going too or Smith's Fuel rewards or any other kind of coupon for that service, USE THEM BOTH! This program literally costs you nothing.
I started this program about 4 months ago (I wanted to test it before I shared) and I already have $28.73 in my account. Doesn't sound like much but over the years that small amount of money will ad up to be over $1,000 with the interest they pay or I can just request a check now for myself. And, I haven't even been paying attention. I've never used the gasoline or restaurant offers. (I'm going to be saving a lot more now that I will be). They send a monthly statement and reminder when there's new coupons available. It's easy!
Check it out here. It's FREE to sign up and use the grocery store coupons. You don't have to give them any credit card information to use them. So, why not give it a try. I wish I had found it 10 years ago!
Upromise has been in business for over 10 years. They are members of both the FINRA/SIPC. And, use SallieMae for fund investment.
Happy Saving.
