Craving something that's a little salty and sweet. You might like today's “Snack of the Day” post. As mentioned previously, over the next few weeks, we are going to be sharing some healthy, simple and easy Smoothies and Snacks that come in under 200 calories. Hopefully, you’ll find them helpful and they will give you some motivation to replace one of your snacks attacks with something better for you.
I spotted Feta Cheese crumbles on sale for $2.50 at my local grocery store, it reminded me about this tasty mix of fruit and cheese that I've enjoyed for years. It's a bit usual and one you might not think of. Simply cut up about a cup of Watermelon cubes and top with 2 tablespoons of Feta Cheese.
If you want to give it some nutritional kick and make it festive for the Forth of July, sprinkle in a 1/4 cup of fresh blueberries.
