Helping Hands

Dear Friends,

We are starting something new. Well, it's kind of new. As many of you may have read in the disclosure policy that's noted within our posts, like most blogs we make a few dollars along the way, by way of ad placements on the site.

The money generated is used to keep the site operating so that we can keep it free for everyone. As the site has grown, I find myself so grateful and feel honored that 1000's of Utah folks visit the site daily and find it helpful enough to keep coming back. I've posted before, this site was never really developed to make money but, was born out of a mother's desire to bond and find common ground with her son. I honestly had no idea, I would be sitting here 5 years later, tap tap tapping away at my keyboard.

I'm big on community support and the added money the website has earned, often gets used to either sponsor or provide products and funds for our local charities. I feel grateful every time I write out a check or hand over a bag of swag that was provided to me by a company, realizing that I could not afford this generosity were it not for Coupons4Utah.

One night while I was putting together some donations for the Utah Food Bank, I realized that while, I know where and how the donation came, you did not. So, I'm starting something new. We're going to call it “Hands 4 Helping”.

You can  help without spending and cent!

Helping is easy. Just visit the website daily and view the deals and postings that interest you. Every time you click on the blue “Read More” Button were going to donate to one of these great charities. .05¢ will be designated for every 100 “Read More” clicks. That may seem small but we have 1,000's of these page view daily already. It's going to add up!

I do want to mention that I'm on the hunt for local folks doing some amazing things in our community. If you know of an organization that you would like us to consider, PLEASE leave a comment or email us here using the contact link. At the end of the year we'll make a video showing who we helped.

Hopefully, you love this idea as much as I do and all Coupons4Utah readers can unite to make a difference in our community.
