Summer Outdoor Concerts Series in Utah are a lot of fun. You can pack up a blanket and snacks and get outside to enjoy some of our local talent. Many parks, resorts and event centers host these free or for a discounted price. We've updated our annual list of Summer Concert Series in Salt Lake City and other cities.

Free Concerts in Salt Lake County
Gallivan Center Excellence in the Community Concerts: Celebrate good local music and dancing at the Gallivan Center's FREE Excellence in the Community Concerts starting in May and running into September. No tickets required, just show up.
Concerts in the Park at Brigham Young Historic Park: Tuesday and Friday evenings throughout June, July, and August at the BY Historic Park.
Temple Square Concert Series: A variety of concerts throughout the summer are held at the LDS Conference Center, Assemble Hall and Tabernacle.
Murray City Arts in the Park: Free lunch concerts are held every Tuesday at noon in Murray Park Pavilion #5 beginning in June and ending in August. Bring your sack lunch and enjoy an hour of entertainment. Murray Park also hosts a free children matinees every Thursday at 2:00 p.m. in Murray Park Pavilion #5. Also, free Family Night concerts are held on the 2nd Mondays in June-September at the Heritage Center Outdoor Plaza.
Utah Cultural Celebration Center in West Valley: The Summer Concert Series begins on July 1, 2019 and runs through August 5 on Monday nights.
Snowbird Cool Air Concerts: Free outdoor concerts featuring top bands from around the nation each Saturday from June 22-August 10 at 6pm.
Midvale Arts Council: Free concerts in the park most Friday nights at 7:30 at 400 W 7500 S from June 14 – August 2, 2019.
West Fest: West Fest is an annual celebration of West Valley City. Two stages host many free concerts during the event from June 13 – June 16, 2019.
FREE Outdoor Concerts in Utah
American Fork: Free Concerts at the American Fork Amphitheater on most Monday evenings from June 4 – July 30
Park City Live Music: Check out the wide variety of music and venues in and around Park City. Most are free, some are not.
Provo Rooftop Concerts: Free concerts presented the first Friday of every month, June – September. These are very popular, get there early. 2019 will be the last and final season of this concert series.
Canyons Resort Concerts: Free Summer Concert Series on Thursdays and Saturdays through the summer.
Deer Valley Summer Concerts: Free Concerts on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 to 8:00 pm at the Snow Park Amphitheater June 19 – Aug 21.
Logan Tabernacle Summer Concerts: Concerts are held Monday through Friday at 12:00 Noon for 10 weeks during the summer months.
Bountiful Concerts in the Park: Most Friday nights starting June 21 through August 23 at Bountiful City Park.
Layton Free Sunday Night Concert Series: Each Sunday night during the summer at 7 pm enjoy a free concert at the Kenley Amphitheater in Layton.
Soda Row Daybreak Summer Concerts: Enjoy live music every Friday and Saturday night from 8-10pm. Concert series runs May -September.
List of Amphitheaters in Utah
Aside from those mentioned above, here's a list of other Utah Amphitheaters you can enjoy. These require tickets. You can purchase your tickets online at the theaters website.
Davis County Kenley Amphitheater: Layton. If you are near Davis County check out the many events held each summer at the Kenley Amphitheater including Summer Night Concert Series, and Friday Family Movies, Free Sunday Night Concerts.
Draper Amphitheater: Draper Utah. The Amphitheater has various concerts for a small fee.
Twilight Concert Series: Salt Lake City. The Salt Lake City Twilight Concert Series will be held at the Gallivan Center starting July 20th.
Red Butte Gardens: Downtown Salt Lake City. Red Butte cautions to be aware that other websites and companies use the words ‘Red Butte' in some way to sell tickets. Be sure to purchase your tickets only through redbuttegarden.org (via Ticketfly), at our Visitor Center or by calling the Garden or Ticketfly.
USANA Amphitheater: West Valley City. This large venue hosts a variety of concerts all summer long
Sandy Amphitheater: The Sandy Amphitheate.r is a great venue with various concerts throughout the summer. See their calendar for a list of all concerts.
Scera Shell Outdoor Theatre: Orem. The Scera Shell has both indoor and outdoor concert venues.
Thanksgiving Point: Lehi. Attend an evening with The Utah Symphony at Thanksgiving Point Gardens Waterfall Amphitheatre on June 26, 2019 at 8:30 pm.
Tuacahn Amphitheatre: St. George Utah. 2018 concerts include Gentry and The Fab Four and various musicals.
