These Electrical Tape Halloween Glasses are a fun way to dress up any clear glass for your next Halloween party or dinner!
When I first had this idea to make faces on various kinds of clear glasses, I was thinking washi tape or duct tape. But washi tape wasn't sticky enough and duct tape was going to leave a sticky residue on my glasses. The awesome thing about using electrical tape (besides that it is really cheap) is that it is a vinyl tape that you can reposition over and over on glass. Just cut it into desired shapes with scissors or an Exacto knife and let your creativity guide you.
I love the look of the pumpkin face on stemware because it's round/oval, but it would look cute on any clear glasses with an orange punch. I used Kool-aid here, but any orange drink would work.
Milk created the perfect backdrop for my ghost face. This would be perfect at a kids party where you are having cake or cookies and want to serve milk. For the ghostly mouth, I put two strips of electrical tape together and cut an oval shape.
Frankenstein is perhaps my favorite of them all. I used an empty Mason jar because I thought the shape resembled Frankenstein's head the best but any tall glass would do. I cut a paper straw for the bolts on his neck and attached them with sticky foam squares. For the green drink, I put just a drop of neon green food coloring into Sprite.
Love how these turned out and it cost me nothing! The first trick to planning a party on a budget is to look around your house and use things you already have. So quick, so simple but so much more fun than a paper cup!
