30 Handy things to take Camping that you might forget
If you are headed out camping a quick stop to your local Dollar Store can save you a bunch of time and money. Here's a few items we spotted that are easy to forget and do double and triple duty. You can pick them up for a buck in one quick trip. I found these items at my local Dollar Tree store.
Solar Light Stakes
(Let the kids make these into rings and use them as a ring toss game)
Hand Broom and Dust Pan
(a must for the tent)
Disposable Plastic Gloves
Clothes Line and Clothes Pins
(clothes Pins make great potato chip bag clips too)
Vinyl Table Cloth
(Doubles as rain protection if there is an unexpected sprinkle)
Pony Tail Holders (300) pack
(doubles as rubber bands)
(fun along the shores of streams and lakes too)
(Great for holding your fishing catch)
Small sizes of food
(Individual Cereal packets, Ketchup, Mayo, disposable Salt & Pepper shakers)
First Aid supplies
