Calling all Food Network junkies, that's me! Set the DVR, a Utah Chef will be competing on Cutthroat Kitchen. Salt Lake Chef, Matthew Greyard, who works at Forage restaurant, will compete on an episode that will air Sunday and Monday, Jan. 3 and 4, on Food Network. The episode is called “Cacciatore by His Toe.”

If you haven't seen Cutthroat Kitchen before, it's pretty funny. Hosted by Alton Brown, the competing Chefs each get $25,000 and use the money to bid on a variety of outlandish sabotages in effort to limit their opponents cooking abilities. At the end, the winner gets to keep the money he/she didn't spend. You can read more about this story on the Salt Lake Tribunes website.
Has anyone been to Forage Restaurant? I hear it's ultra fancy. If you remember, this is the same restaurant that Chef Viet Pham (who beat Bobby Flay on Iron Chef) is the co-owner of. This restaurant has amazing reviews on Yelp.com.
