Utah Arts Festival (Thursday, June 18 – Sunday, June 21): Celebrating its 50th anniversary at Library Square / Civic Center downtown! Enjoy 170+ artists, live music with headliners (Yola, Shakey Graves, and more), performances, films, food vendors, and hands-on kid-friendly activities. A must-do cultural highlight for the weekend.
Art Stroll at The Gateway (Friday, June 19, 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM): Stroll Rio Grande Street and explore the “Vibrant Daydreams” themed art installations in windows, plus live music. Great pairing with the Arts Festival vibe.
Salt Lake Bees (Multiple Dates including Father’s Day, Sunday, June 21): Catch a game at The Ballpark at America First Square with special Father’s Day promotions—perfect for celebrating Dad with baseball and family fun.
Wheeler Historic Farm Sunday Market (Sunday, June 21, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM): Fresh local produce, artisans, and bakers on the west lawn—family-friendly and relaxed.

Natural History Museum of Utah: Summer Hours (Open daily, 10 AM – 5 PM): Great for families looking to beat the midday sun. It's an excellent time to catch their current traveling exhibitions.
**Discount: Look for a buy 1 admission, get 1 free on your Entertainment app. There's also a 10% off admission on the same app. If you don't have the app., the cost is only $34.99 for a year (includes a 14 day free trial) or $4.99 a month. It's our favorite for restaurants. There are so many and it can also be used while traveling all across the country. It easily pays for it self.

Utah County (Provo/Orem/Lehi)
Pleasant Grove Strawberry Days (Ongoing through Sunday, June 21): The 105th celebration is in full swing for Father’s Day weekend! Rodeo, carnival, parade, car shows, live music, and family activities throughout Pleasant Grove.
Imaginaria at Ashton Gardens (Daily, June 1 – August 22): This is Thanksgiving Point’s major summer festival. It transforms 50 acres of gardens into an immersive experience with giant American landmarks (like a 40-foot Statue of Liberty), massive inflatables, splash zones, and hands-on STEM activities. It’s perfect for all ages and a great way to spend a full day.
Provo Farmers Market (Saturdays): Visit Pioneer Park for the weekly summer market featuring local produce, artisan goods, and live music.
Provo River Trail (Any Day): A perfect way to spend a summer morning—this paved trail offers beautiful views along the river from Utah Lake up through Provo Canyon.

Northern Utah (Davis County, Ogden, Logan)

Snowbasin Summer Kickoff & Mountain Bike Party (Saturday, June 20 & Sunday, June 21; 9 AM – 6 PM): Bike park opening celebrations, activities, and mountain fun.
Snowbasin Mountain-Top Brunch (Sunday, June 21; 10 AM – 2:30 PM): Gondola ride to Needles Lodge for a buffet brunch with views — strong Father’s Day option.
Weber County RAMP Free Saturdays (Saturday, June 20): Free entry to Dinosaur Park, Ice Sheet, Ogden Nature Center, and other sites.
Hill Aerospace Museum (Open daily, 9 AM – 4:00 PM): A massive, free-to-the-public museum featuring historic aircraft and fascinating aerospace history.
USU Botanical Center (Daily): Wander tree-lined paths and enjoy the tranquil gardens in Kaysville. A perfect spot for a relaxing June morning..
Logan Canyon Scenic Drive (Any Day): Take a drive up the canyon for cooler mountain air, breathtaking views, and easy access to hiking trails like Wind Caves or the Crimson Trail.
Antelope Island State Park (Daily): Explore the trails and wildlife viewing areas on this unique island in the Great Salt Lake. Note: There is a vehicle park entrance fee.

Tuacahn Amphitheatre: The production of Les Misérables is running, with a performance scheduled for Friday, June 19.

Larry H. Miller Utah Summer Games 2026: These games are taking place at various venues throughout Cedar City (in neighboring Iron County) through June 27, with events scheduled throughout this weekend.

St. George Splash Pad (Daily): A popular and free way to cool down in downtown St. George, featuring interactive water jets and a lazy river. It’s open daily from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM—perfect for a sunny weekend.

St. George Downtown Farmers Market (Every Saturday through October): Held at Vernon Worthen Park from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, this is a great spot to shop for local produce, baked goods, and handmade crafts while enjoying live music.
Red Cliffs National Conservation Area: If you are looking to hike, the Red Cliffs area offers beautiful trails with iconic views. Pro-tip: Head out early in the morning to beat the desert heat!
Washington Wheels Park (Any Day) – Burn off some energy at the largest skate park in Utah, featuring a pump track, ninja course, and splash pad for the kids.
Explosion of Color Art Exhibition (Running through June 18): Visit the Red Cliff Gallery in St. George to see vibrant landscapes by featured artist Jack Burns. The gallery is open Saturdays from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
Park City & Summit County

Utah Olympic Park: A must-visit. You can take a guided tour to learn about the 2002 Winter Games, explore the museums, or even try the summer bobsled experience (using a bobsled on wheels). It’s an unforgettable way to experience Olympic history.

Park City Library “Music on the Patio,” a delightful community event featuring free live performances. Running from June 6 through August 29, 2026, these sessions take place every Wednesday and Saturday morning from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. It is a fantastic way to enjoy local talent in a relaxed, open-air setting at the library’s outdoor space, located at 1255 Park Ave, making it a perfect mid-morning stop for residents and visitors alike.

Pendry Park City is hosting a Summer Live Music Series daily, starting June 19 (5:00 PM – 8:00 PM).

Park Silly Sunday Market: Head to Historic Main Street for Park City's famous open-air market. It's a vibrant, eco-friendly street festival featuring unique local vendors, delicious food, live music, and family-friendly activities.
Fête de la Musique Celebration: Join the second annual Fête de la Musique at the corner of Main Street and Heber Avenue. This free outdoor celebration features live music, French cuisine, cocktails, and a festive atmosphere. Friday, June 19 (4:00 PM – 8:00 PM) and Saturday, June 20 (11:00 AM – 8:00 PM).
Summer Season Opening at Deer Valley Resort: Deer Valley officially kicks off its summer season on Friday, June 19. The resort will be open for lift-served mountain biking, hiking, and scenic chairlift rides.

Moab & Grand County
Outdoor Adventure: It is a prime time for whitewater rafting on the Colorado River, mountain biking on world-class trails, or taking a guided canyoneering adventure.

Vernal: Dinosaur Roundup Rodeo (June 18–20) Held at the Uintah County Western Park, this is a premier Father’s Day weekend tradition in Eastern Utah. It features top-tier rodeo action, specialty acts, and fireworks following the Saturday evening show.
